Very sturdy and well constructed professional shipping case for scientific, medical or musical instruments and/or camera or demo/trade show equipment. This case does not have wheels and the top/lid is hinged to the bottom/base. The inside dimensions within the heavily padded sides of the bottom are 22.25"L x 18"W x 18"D all the way to the bottom and only 11.25"D to the foam support pieces (that can easily be removed). The hinged top has a slightly different padding arrangement and adds another 2" in depth. The top inside dimensions (less the rectangular foam piece) is 25.75"L x 21.25"W x 2"D. Therefore the overall size of this case is 27.25"L x 22.75"W x 25.5"H. The overall weight is roughly 50 lbs and the freight charge to ship this entire case will be based on the destination, as well as the overall dimensions and weight. The wall thickness of the case (presumably made of plywood) is 5/8" and the thickness of the foam padding inside is 2" all around. This case is in very good shape with normal wear and tear on both the inside and outside.
