We do not profit on shipping costs. Our charges reflect the actual cost based on weight + the cost of a heavy cardboard mailer. These mailers are very strong and even though they are somewhat expensive, it protects your order while in transit to you. Along with increased costs from the Post Office, please be patient with us on the shipping time. We ship all orders within 24 hours to help offset potential delays. Some packages make it from the east coast to the west coast in as little as 2 days, other times, it takes a week to go from Maryland to New Jersey. Post Office delays are expected from October through January. All orders will have tracking numbers and if you notice that your package is significantly delayed, please send us a message so we can look into it and do our best to keep you updated on the status of your package.
