It is secured with a hook and loop closure. MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load Carrying Equipment System) complete backpack set. Good - These packs will show a little more moderate signs of use and may have a rip or be missing a small non-essential component.  These packs are still fully functional for their intended purpose. Acceptable - These packs will show heavier signs of use that could include any of the above plus small holes or rips.  A common problem is the area around the drawstring may have pulled apart and ripped somewhat.  Any defects would be easily repairable.
